Highlights

  • Rogers currently does not have a medical alert system, unlike its competitors Telus and Bell, who entered the market through acquisitions.
  • Rogers offers home security services, which include smart monitoring, potentially aligning with customer needs for emergency alert features.

Rogers does not currently offer a medical alert system. But that may soon change. Its behemoth competitors Telus and Bell have both respectively got into the medical alert fields. Telus with their Livingwell Companion brand, and Bell with their medical alert system. Both got in by acquiring companies Direct Alert and Alarmforce. So perhaps a buy out is in the works for Rogers future foray into the medical alert space.

Home Security

Rogers does offer home security though, which many companies that do, also provide alert services. Although, it’s smart monitoring services may be more for what you are looking for.
